Microsoft Advertising
Report qualified leads and won deals as offline conversions for clicks on your Microsoft ads.
Available from the Pro plan. Compare plans
Leads that came from a click on a Microsoft ad carry the Microsoft click ID, msclkid. When you mark such a lead as qualified or won, Leadwon uploads it to Microsoft Advertising as an offline conversion with its value.
Before you start
In Microsoft Advertising, turn on Auto-tagging of Microsoft Click ID in the account settings, so that every click carries an msclkid. To see campaign names in your reports, turn on UTM auto-tagging there as well.
Connect your account
- Open Leads → Ad platforms and click Connect Microsoft Advertising.
- Sign in with your Microsoft account and allow access. Leadwon never sees your password.
- Choose the ad account. With only one account, Leadwon chooses it for you.
- For qualified leads and won deals, keep the goals created by Leadwon, or choose an offline conversion goal you already have.
- Save. Leadwon creates its offline conversion goals in your account.
Only offline conversion goals can receive uploads. Goals that the UET tag counts on your website are not listed, and Leadwon leaves them as they are.
Enhanced conversions
With enhanced conversions, leads are also matched by their email address and phone number, hashed with SHA-256 on your site. Turn on enhanced conversions for the goal in Microsoft Advertising first, then tick the option in Leadwon.
Ad spend
With Import ad spend turned on, Leadwon requests a daily campaign report from Microsoft Advertising. Microsoft builds these reports in the background, so the first costs may take a little while to appear. See Ad spend and return on ad spend.
Good to know
- Microsoft accepts offline conversions for clicks of the last 90 days.
- Conversions are sent about two minutes after the status changes.
- Recent conversions on the Ad platforms page shows what was sent, and Retry failed sends failed ones again.
